Key points
- CashD isn’t a loan. You withdraw pay you’ve already earned, so there’s no debt and nothing to default on.
- There are no credit checks, no interest and no penalties. One fee of 1.99% per withdrawal, and some employers cover it.
- You can access up to 50% of what you’ve earned, so the rest of your pay still arrives on payday.
- Employer-controlled settings, usage monitoring and safeguards support responsible use, while your privacy is maintained.
Not a loan, by design
CashD lets you access your earned wages in real time, instead of waiting for payday or taking out a loan. Because the money is already yours, there’s no credit check, no penalties and no chance of defaulting.
That’s why we talk about responsible access to your pay, not lending. A loan gives you money you haven’t earned yet and charges you to pay it back. CashD gives you pay you have earned, sooner.
Why we built CashD
Our mission is to give all working Australians affordable access to their earned wages in real time. We want to help ease financial stress, and stop people getting caught in an endless loan cycle.
Our vision is a workforce that can use its earned pay to build a more stable financial future, for themselves and the people they love.
Responsible by design
Every part of CashD is set up so it helps between paydays, without creating a new problem.
- Only pay you’ve earned. You can withdraw up to 50% of what you’ve earned so far in the pay cycle, never more.
- One fee, stated up front. 1.99% per withdrawal: $3.98 on $200. No interest, no late fees and no penalties.
- Nothing to chase. On payday, what you withdrew and the fee come out through payroll. There’s no repayment to miss.
- No credit check. Using CashD doesn’t affect your credit rating, and we never need access to your bank.
- Safeguards with your employer. Employer-controlled settings, usage monitoring and safeguards support responsible use, while your privacy is maintained.
What we stand for
- A better solution. More ethical, transparent and affordable access to money than existing lenders.
- Reduce stress. Helping Australians reduce financial stress and work towards financial freedom.
- Financial education. Helping Australians make better financial decisions and build a more stable future.
Using it well
Earned wage access works best for timing: covering a bill that lands before payday. It isn’t a fix for being short every pay cycle.
Good for
- Covering a bill when it lands, not when payday does.
- Avoiding late fees and pricier credit.
Worth knowing
- It brings pay forward, so your next pay is smaller.
- If you’re short every pay cycle, a free financial counsellor can help: 1800 007 007.
FAQs
Questions people ask about using CashD responsibly.
Why isn’t CashD a loan?
Because the money is already yours. You can only withdraw pay you’ve earned for work you’ve done, and it’s settled through your employer’s payroll on payday. There’s no interest, no credit check and nothing to default on.
Why can I only withdraw up to 50%?
It means the rest of your pay still arrives on payday as usual, so you’re never left with nothing to come.
Are there late or penalty fees?
No. What you withdraw is settled through your employer’s payroll, so there’s nothing to repay late and nothing to default on.
Can my employer see what I withdraw?
[PLACEHOLDER: CashD to confirm exactly what employers can and can’t see about an employee’s withdrawals.]
Will it affect my credit rating?
No. There’s no credit check to use CashD and no impact on your credit rating.
