How much does using CashD cost me?

There’s a one-off fee of 1.99%, although some employers choose to cover it for their employees. There are no late fees, hidden fees or interest charges. All fees are clearly shown in the app.

How is CashD different from payday loans and early wage access?

CashD isn’t a loan. There are no credit checks, interest charges or late fees, and there’s no risk of default. You’re simply accessing wages you’ve already earned before payday.

What is earned wage access?

Earned wage access lets employees access a portion of their earned wages on demand, instead of waiting until payday.

How it works for employees

How does CashD protect my financial data?

All employer and employee data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and hosted securely on AWS servers in Australia. CashD also undergoes certified penetration testing and complies with AUSTRAC and Australian financial regulations.

How long does it take to get funds transferred?

Transfers are usually instant via PayID/Osko. However, depending on your financial institution, standard bank processing can take up to 2 business days.

How does CashD determine my eligibility?

There’s no complex eligibility assessment. If your employer uses CashD and you’re earning wages, you’re generally eligible to use the service.

Can I use CashD if I receive government benefits or Centrelink?

To use CashD, you need employment income. Centrelink payments alone don’t qualify.

How do I get started with CashD?

If you haven’t received an invitation from your employer, check whether your employer is registered with CashD.

Check my employer

How much money can I withdraw?

You can withdraw up to 50% of your earned wages, unless your employer has set a different limit.

Will this affect my credit score?

No. CashD doesn’t run credit checks, review bank statements or affect your credit history. It isn’t a loan, so there’s no interest, no debt risk and no repayments.

Are there any tax implications of withdrawing a portion of my pay early?

No. All early withdrawals are transacted net of tax.

Is CashD secure?

Yes. All employer and employee data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and hosted securely on AWS servers in Australia. CashD also undergoes certified penetration testing and complies with AUSTRAC and Australian financial regulations.

I’d like to close my account

There’s no need. Simply delete the app and unsubscribe from our marketing emails.

Do I need to update my details if I change banks or jobs?

No. CashD mirrors the information in the payroll, workforce management or HR/HRIS software your employer uses. Changes must be made with your employer and can’t be updated directly in CashD.

What devices support the CashD app?

CashD is available on iOS and Android through the App Store and Google Play, and can also be accessed in a web browser.

Are there late fees if I miss a repayment?

No late fees and no interest penalties, just one small fee to access your earned wages.

Why haven’t I received my withdrawal in my bank account yet?

Transfers are usually instant via PayID/Osko. However, depending on your financial institution, standard bank processing can take up to 2 business days.

Will using CashD have any impact on my current income?

No. CashD won’t affect your income. It simply gives you access to your earned wages before payday.

Do I need to make any repayments?

No. Your employer automatically deducts the amount you’ve withdrawn from your final pay for the pay period.

Will my CashD withdrawals appear on my pay slip?

Yes. Your pay slip shows the withdrawal amount as a deduction, along with any applicable fees, so you can clearly see each transaction.

How do I update my employment details?

You can’t update employment details directly in CashD. If you change employers, ask your new employer whether they use CashD, and request an invitation if they do.

How often can I use CashD?

You can make multiple withdrawals, subject to your available balance. In most cases, employees can access up to 50% of their accrued gross wages.

What is my username?

Your username is the email address you first applied with, or the one your employer has on their payroll system.
